Tyler Traylor and his wife Ashlyn moved into the West Colfax area of Denver, CO in 2015 and

have lived in and around the neighborhood ever since. Through his time serving in the

community, Tyler found a need to increase the supply of volunteers across the area. In order to

address this need, Tyler began directing the volunteer incentive program called ’Team Colfax’ in

2022.

Team Colfax is a volunteer incentive program for the neighborhoods surrounding ‘West Colfax’

in Denver, CO. The program was formed in order to foster community development by

increasing the supply of volunteers to meet the demand of our local NGOs. The vision of the

program is to see the people who live in and around West Colfax develop valuable social

relationships. In order to do that, the program works to create and maintain a compelling

incentive program for institutional involvement and volunteerism across West Colfax. All of this

work is deeply rooted in the Gospel. Because of the free and abundant grace offered to

mankind through Christ, we believe that we are free to extend ourselves to live for others rather

than just ourselves.
