After living in Thailand for 16 years serving missionaries,  Joyce Beckner has returned to the USA to join the work of  Pressing Pause in Bentonville, Arkansas as Director of Women's Spiritual Formation.  Pressing Pause is a faith based organization working with non profit organizations helping them to define their vision and mission in order to be more purposeful and more impactful. The staff meet personally with leaders helping them live vertically in order to lead horizontally. Pressing Pause is committed to seeing changed lives, change lives.

It is her passion to provide a caring and safe environment for women to share the difficulties of life, and to help them move forward in the direction God is leading them. Since 1994, Joyce has met with countless individuals in the United States and Asia, hearing their stories and helping them move toward greater freedom as a child of God and live in joyful relationship with Christ.   Joyce provides soul care in the form of spiritual conversations, inner healing prayer, debriefing, and spiritual direction and coaching through Pressing Pause.  She also facilitates restorative spiritual retreats.
